Adrien Brody claimed the BAFTA Award for Best Leading Actor this Sunday for his role in The Brutalist.
The American actor outshined a competitive field of nominees, including Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown), Ralph Fiennes (Conclave), Hugh Grant (Heretic), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing), and Sebastian Stan (The Apprentice).
The Brutalist tells the story of László Toth, a visionary architect who, after World War II, arrives in the United States to rebuild his life, career, and marriage with his wife, Erzsébet, following their forced separation due to shifting borders and regimes.
