Jacksonville Shopping Malls: A Local’s Guide

These two malls in Jacksonville are perfect for any shopping mood. Whether you want a luxury experience or a more casual outing, St. Johns Town Center and The Avenues Mall have it all. Both are located in the Southside of Jacksonville.

St. Johns Town Center

St. Johns Town Center is a large, open-air mall with a wide variety of stores. You can find everything from clothing, shoes, and home goods to bookstores, restaurants, and pet stores.

What I love:

  • Enjoy a good book at Barnes & Noble.

  • Grab a coffee and stroll around.

  • Stop at Kilwins for seasonal chocolates.

  • Have lunch at one of many restaurants, including Mexican, Japanese, Brazilian, and American.

  • Try Noodles & Company for a delicious zucchini noodle dish with chicken and pesto sauce.

The Avenues Mall
The Avenues Mall is a smaller, indoor shopping center with two levels. It’s a more relaxed and affordable place compared to St. Johns Town Center.

What I love:

  • Shop at stores like H&M, MAC, Bath & Body Works, and JCPenney.

  • Grab a smoothie or coffee from one of the kiosks while you shop.

  • The mall also has small parks for kids to enjoy.

  • For the best coffee, try Le Crepes, an Italian family-run spot that serves a delicious cappuccino with a Nutella and strawberry crepe. It’s a cozy place to take a break and relax.

Pro Tips:

  • St. Johns Town Center is perfect for a day of shopping and dining, while The Avenues Mall is ideal for a quick trip.

  • Le Crepes at The Avenues Mall is a must-try for amazing coffee and crepes!
