Oscars 2025: List of winners and highlights!
Wow, what a night! Whether you watched with a big group or just relaxed on your couch, the Oscars on March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre in LA did not disappoint.
Big Winners:
Anora was the night’s biggest winner, taking home multiple awards, including Best Picture, Best Actress for Mikey Madison, and Best Director for Sean Baker.
The Brutalist, which starred Adrien Brody, triumphed with three awards, including Best Actor for Brody.
Wicked earned two Oscars for Best Production Design and Best Costume Design.
Notable Nominations & Awards:
Emilia Pérez led the nomination race with 13 nominations but only secured one win for Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Zoe Saldaña).
The Brutalist gained 10 nominations, winning Best Actor for Adrien Brody and Best Cinematography.
Wicked also had 10 nominations, winning Best Design for Production and Costume.
Highlights of the Night:
One of the most touching moments was Ariana Grande's stunning performance in a red dress, singing Judy Garland’s iconic "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from The Wizard of Oz. Her voice brought a nostalgic and emotional touch to the evening.
The surprise appearance of Mick Jagger, the legendary Rolling Stones frontman, who presented the award for Best Original Song, added a rock-and-roll edge to the ceremony. His presence was a standout, bringing the energy of a true music icon to the night.
