Oscars 2025: List of winners and highlights!

Wow, what a night! Whether you watched with a big group or just relaxed on your couch, the Oscars on March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre in LA did not disappoint.


Big Winners:

  • Anora was the night’s biggest winner, taking home multiple awards, including Best Picture, Best Actress for Mikey Madison, and Best Director for Sean Baker.

  • The Brutalist, which starred Adrien Brody, triumphed with three awards, including Best Actor for Brody.

  • Wicked earned two Oscars for Best Production Design and Best Costume Design.

Notable Nominations & Awards:

  • Emilia Pérez led the nomination race with 13 nominations but only secured one win for Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Zoe Saldaña).

  • The Brutalist gained 10 nominations, winning Best Actor for Adrien Brody and Best Cinematography.

  • Wicked also had 10 nominations, winning Best Design for Production and Costume.

Highlights of the Night:

  • One of the most touching moments was Ariana Grande's stunning performance in a red dress, singing Judy Garland’s iconic "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from The Wizard of Oz. Her voice brought a nostalgic and emotional touch to the evening.
